The Mathematics Department of the University of Bologna is located at the end of Via Zamboni in Piazza di Porta San Donato (one of the old  gates along the avenues bounding the city center).

• FROM THE RAILWAY STATION: Cross the square and the road in front of the main exit of the station. Near the Risbo' restaurant you'll find the bus stop for the lines 32, 36 and 37. It will take from 5 to 10 minutes to reach the Department. You may buy the ticket on board. Ask the driver to be dropped at the San Donato stop  ("fermata San Donato").
•  BY CAR: From the highway , enter to the ring road ("tangenziale") andl leave it at exit 7.  Proceed following the directions to the city center ("centro"). When reaching the Mascarella gate, turn left and keep going till the next gate, that is  San Donato gate. In the opposite direction you get at the railway station.
• FROM THE AIRPORT: A shuttle leaves from the arrival terminal of the airport to reach the railway station. It is also possible to catch a taxi. In this case the trip will last about 20 minutes.
